First question: Can the device also be used as a WLAN repeater? Then, for example, in a hotel, only this device has to be connected to the WLAN and all devices in the families are online again. no, unfortunately no repeater (extender) function.
strangely enough, the predecessor e5786 still had it.
(and the models without it could be upgraded via firmware)
for you probably the netgear ac810 would be interesting
+ 15 instead of 10 devices connectable
+ extender function
+ 600 instead of 300mbps (possible..)
+ not much more expensive
