Does this work for every new Samsung TV? And can I then switch off the sound on the back of the TV? We only want the sound to the front as the TV is free standing in the room. Thanks for any feedback?

As soon as the Soundbar is connected, the TV speaker switches off.

Yes, in the settings of the TV you can set which loudspeaker should be used to play the sound. Once set to the soundbar, the built-in speakers in the TV are muted.

This works without any problems! Of course, you can set the sound so that it is only played through the soundbar.
