Philips Hue White & Color Ambiance Datura
Does this product also have the beeping noise that almost all Philips Hue ceiling lights have?
We own a large number of Philips Hue lamps. The "beeping" mentioned does not occur with any of these lamps. I can't detect anything in this respect with the Datura either.
Nothing beeps for me, even a measurement shows no HF beeping.
Have you connected an already installed dimmer to it? We also had the rubbing at first, but when we changed the connection to a normal button, the rubbing stopped. The electrician then said that Hue lamps don't get on very well with other dimmers. .
I can't hear anything, but I'm very sensitive. The brightness is sufficient for a small office, but I will recommend a larger version, but as I said, light comes from above and a table lamp for the office would be recommended. I have installed this lamp in the dining room (I used to have a pendant light that hung 80cm above the dining table, and now I deliberately wanted a ceiling light) and I am very satisfied. The decisive factor for me was that this lamp offers warm, cold and coloured light, depending on your mood and activity (you can define your own or use pre-programmed scenes, such as reading, concentrating, recharging your batteries, relaxing and so on). The only thing that bothers me at the moment is that when I switch off the light with the switch, the last setting is lost.
I also hate electronic devices that have coil beeping or make other unwanted noises. We have the large and small Datura here at home and fortunately don't hear any beeping. We have the Hue Surimu panel in the hallway and my wife told me about a very quiet beeping noise. I'm usually the most sensitive of the two of us to noise, but I haven't been able to hear any noises there either.
Until recently, we had a smart ceiling panel from a well-known Swedish furniture store and the beeping was extreme, especially with one light colour and the brighter you made it. As a result, I never used this light area because it was so annoying.
