Does this adapter work with this motherboard? Asus ROG Strix Z370-I Gaming Mainboard If no which 10Gbit/s adapter would work?

I have one of these, but I can't tell you if it works for your application... I use it on a MacBookPro to Synology...

I would also prefer a network card, but I can't find a slot on my ITX mainboard. Only one, but my graphics card is plugged in there. :(

Why not a card that is built into the PC? The board basically has enough ports and you can use the Thunderbolt for something else ;-)
