Although the Acer Predator Connect X7 5G CPE has a USB port (USB 2.0 or Type-C depending on the region), this is only intended for storage functions such as FTP or Samba. Connecting external devices such as a Netgear Nighthawk M3 for use as a WAN fallback via USB tethering is not supported, as the USB port is not implemented as a network or Internet input in the router system.
