Question about Sonnenkönig Window kit

The Velcro tape should really be left on the window/window frame for the next year as it is hardly visible once the plastic is removed. This allows the whole system to be easily reinstalled the following year. No system is perfect but this works quite well. I have now reused the same item for 3 years.

The hooks are supplied as adhesive tape while the loops are are sewn onto the fabric. As a once off, the hook adhesive tape can easily be applied to the window frame after which it is intended to be left on permanently. With the hood tape applied to the window frame the fabric can easily be attached and removed easily thereafter via the velcro loops. If the hook tape is removed from the window frame no residue is left on the window frame, however, the adhesive will become less and less effective. I suggest that if you cannot live with the hook tape permanently being attached to the window frame, this product is not for you.
