No, it does not have to. But as with any PC, you should clean all fans thoroughly on a regular basis.
To be honest, I would be interested in that too! It's a closed circuit that's already filled, do you have to do anything regularly? And can anything happen that the hoses come loose or something? Do we have to pay attention to anything, this is the first unit with water cooling that we have bought...
