Question about Sony HT-CT381S Silver
Does the Soundbar switch on and off automatically with the TV? (HDMI link) And does it automatically change the HDMI channel when another device is switched on?
Almost... :-) My Sony soundbar is connected to a Samsung TV, a Samsung DVD player is connected to the sound bar and an audio source is set to "analogue" - whatever is connected, I have to switch on the soundbar myself, but when I switch off the TV, the soundbar also switches off (it may well be that I did not understand something correctly in the settings). The HDMI channel changes automatically without any problems, with the exception of the analogue source. I am very satisfied with the soundbar, it is hardly noticeable and the sound is very satisfactory for me. Networking with a Sony device should not cause any problems.
