Does the smoke detector have a wifi module or how does it connect to the app? How long does the battery last and is it replaceable? Is a plan required to send the notification?

Yes, the smoke detector has a WLAN module and connects to the app via WLAN.
The battery cannot be replaced, life span according to Hombli is 10 years. After 10 years, the other components are no longer in perfect condition, so the battery cannot be replaced.
No plan is required.
