Does the part also work with Apple products easily? And can you access it on the road without a wifi connection (cloud)?
you can configure to backup from a mac to this device using the time machine. Although you cannot back up from this device to another time machine backup device. you can create cloud access, but i have not tried it. from the help text "Before a smart phone or tablet can access the content of your device, you need to register it as part of your personal cloud ecosystem.
