Does the Micro SD card (to be added) act as a buffer and increase fluidity?

No, it has nothing to do with the fluid. I assume you mean the speed. With an SD card, the thing acts as a USB stick and as 5G access. Works perfectly even with an iPad that doesn't have 4/5G
