Does the machine have a tank where you can fill up with water manually? Can the water (if there is a tank) then be let out via a hose?

There are two hoses. One must be connected to the tap (fresh water supply), the other to the sink to "get rid" of the machine's waste water. No water can be taken from the tap during this time!
The machine is great, I've had it for six years, I've only had to replace the connection on the tap once. The plumber supplies a plug-in connection, which is more practical than the one supplied. It's a screw cap, a fiddly thing. And the constant connecting and disconnecting is just a bit impractical. But perfect for my small household

The machine must be connected to the water pipe. Waste water can be collected if necessary, but I don't know how much will come out. Waste water can be drained via the sink, but it would be better to use a siphon. The supply pipe can be temporarily disconnected from the tap and connected each time it is used.
