Yes, as long as you set the range in the settings and the person or object is within the range. Mine has always seen people as pet. It could be to wrong installation from the ground level or whatever. I hope to have helped with this response. Good Luck!

Yes, absolutely. The camera uses sensors to recognise when something is moving and then pans to it. You can then set whether the movement in the image is relevant: for example, you can set the camera to ignore cats or cars.

The event must be in the camera's field of vision. As soon as it is recognised by the camera in the image, the camera pans to the event. The type of event to be detected can be set. A distinction is made between people, pets and vehicles. The detection of pets and vehicles is currently in the beta phase and is already working quite reliably.
