Question about Netgear Aircard 4G modems
Does the antenna also amplify the reception of the 4G signal or does it only serve to amplify the WLAN signal?

the antenna amplifies ONLY the 3g and 4g signal
the wifi is strong enough to get through a wall or floor. for wifi i would use a repeater with 2,4 and 5ghz that can do crossband repeating. cu

Agree with MyCu (above). It's about 3G and 4G. That's where the thing really helps. Unfortunately, it's not enough to get a stable connection on the train either. But I could have guessed that myself. Stationary great (in the holiday home with a scarce signal).

Can anyone tell me from experience what this 2.5 dB gain brings??? I usually have 2 out of 4 bars on the signal strength at my hotspot and would like to get to 4 out of 4....
