Does it have space for an additional hard drive or can you just replace the existing one and what happens to the warranty then?

Further material and warranty claims are expressly excluded. This includes in particular:
-Damage caused by incorrect operation, improper handling, modifications, tampering, falling, lightning, moisture or overvoltage.

If you make changes to the system (hardware), your warranty will be voided.
