Does anyone have the possibility to measure the power consumption of the device? I have already read in various places that the device, contrary to the specifications of 1.5W, should consume between 30-60W (!!) in standby, depending on activated services, network connection via LAN, etc., but no one brought it below 30W! Is this how Sony allowed the sale with all the guidelines regarding standby, which don't really allow such things to go through anymore? Especially if the standby consumption is officially stated differently. I was quite surprised when I read that... it does add up to a lot of electricity costs over time! In 4-5 years you can use the money to buy another receiver in the same price range... :(
You have to distinguish between the European firmware and the firmware for the rest of the world. As far as I can remember, some functions had to be deactivated in standby via firmware for Europe so that the power consumption complies with the legal standards. That's why waking up the receiver via voice command from Alexa doesn't work. I returned the receiver anyway because it annoyed me. I also missed Dolby Atmos and the sound did not meet my expectations.
I haven't measured it, and I don't care. Make sure you have connected via LAN and deactivated Bluetooth. More will not work
