Question about Ei Electronics Ei650 smoke detector
Does anyone have experience with false alarms? If the alarm goes off and we are not at home, does the alarm switch off automatically after a certain time (1/2h or 1h) or are the neighbours kept awake until you come back from holiday?

There is no reference to automatic shut-off in the operating instructions. I can't imagine that this is intended either, since he wants to draw attention to a danger. It will probably make noise until the battery is empty. I have never had a false alarm with my six units. But I have only been using them for about two months.
