AVM FTTH Router FRITZ!Box 5530, with AON SFP
Does anyone have any experience with Wingo this router?
@Hugosius: It depends on which fibre subscription/connection you have:
- at 1Gbits/s it shouldn't be a problem; the matching SFP AON is included.
- at 10Gbits/s it would theoretically work if you have the right Fritz! SFP GPON module (which I don't think is included here). But it's better not to try it, I was annoyed with Wingo support for weeks until they switched back to the 1Gbps connection, where it now works.
I switched from Swisscom to Wingo and in doing so I really wanted to continue using my FritzBox 5490, now I find that although described on the internet this does not (yet) work or no longer works, Wingo says is not supported, I did get to the activation page with the box but then had to do the activation with the Wingo box, then I plugged the 5490 back in, this then failed with the message Fiber interrupted, although this worked yesterday. Now of course I would change to the 5530 Fiber if this works with Wingo, can anyone confirm this for me? Thank you very much, greetings.
Hello everyone
I have a Yallo fibre subscription 10 Gbit/s is the Fritz!Box 5530 fibre compatible? Has anyone had any experience? Do I still need login data from the provider?
Unfortunately, we do not have any real empirical data on this. We have forwarded the question to our community and hope that a user can provide input on this.
