Does anyone have any experience with the volume of the fan? - If anyone has even unscrewed the thing, does the fan use a standard PWM interface, so that a Noctua might also fit in an emergency?
I have installed the Noctua NF-A4x20 PWM fan from Digitec, item no. 6399990.
I have carried out the following optimisation.
- Optimised the airflow
- removed the two heat sinks and repositioned them with thermal paste.
The heat sinks are pressed onto the board by the cover.
When I opened the housing, one heat sink was no longer in the correct position. My switch is not positioned horizontally, but vertically on a shelf.
It's damn loud (when using 10GbE, for example). An NF-A4x20 should fit. It is a standard PWM connector (tested on a Corsair 4pin PWM fan)
I have the switch in use, but not yet under load.
If required, I can also take a photo of the circuit board and fan.
We have no personal experience with this item and therefore cannot answer the question. I would be happy to enter it here, perhaps a user can help you.
