Question about Linksys Velop Tri Band
Does anyone else have problems with nodes that connect via wireless? These nodes are always displayed in red, but the connected devices have a network. The support told me that it should work and the latest firmware is on it. All WiFi clients have 100% network ... very strange.
Hello, I had installed two Velos and bought a third mode. First of all - if you operate the system in bridge mode, you cannot add a new mode! You have to switch all nodes to router mode (standard delivery) and then add the node with the app or according to the description. This did not work for me at first, despite telephone support! Then I had to connect the Note with a LAN cable, which is how.... works. However, the newly purchased Note can only be operated with a cable, and support had no idea why. At first I wanted to send it back, but then I kept it because the Node runs without problems via cable and I happen to have a connection there. So switch off bridge mode, connect the node to the cable and integrate it, possibly change the master node and/or reset the whole system and rebuild it from scratch - make the new node the master.
I have only installed 1 Velop. Therefore no
problem.
