Do you need a separate charger for the battery, or can you charge it on the device if you only have one battery?

The charger was delivered to me with the battery. The battery was not included in the price of the hoover!
It requires a separate charger, this and also the battery was not included in the scope of delivery in my opinion, I ordered this directly from Kärcher (on sale, charger and battery) (incl. fleece filter bags)
