Question about Alcatel HH40
Do you always have to charge the battery or can you also leave the router connected at all times when stationary? (possible overheating, damage to the battery).
The part does not have a battery inside. But it does have a USB connection. You can use it on the road with a power bank. Now at home it's a backup internet connection, powered by the USB port of my normal router. When the internet goes down, I just plug the LAN cable from the cable modem into the Alcatel and the internet is back.
