Do the specifications of the Minisforum MINI-PC UM890 Pro Ryzen 9 32GB RAM + 1TB differ from the Minisforum UM890 Pro AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS, 64 GB, 1000 GB only in the RAM? Does the Minisforum MINI-PC UM890 Pro Ryzen 9 32GB RAM + 1TB have the same connectivity options as the 64 GB version? Depending on the manufacturer, the models are identical, only the SO-DIMM RAM distribution is different.
In theory, you can have :
For the 32GB model
1) 2*16GB DDR5 = 32GB DDR5
2) 1*32GB DDR5 = 32GB DDR5
For the 64GB model
1) 2*32GB DDR5 = 64GB DDR5
2) 1*16GB DDR5 + 48GB DDR5 = 64GB DDR5
For a maximum RAM upgrade to date of up to 96GB DDR5, i.e. :
1) 2*48GB DDR5 = 96GB DDR5
Only the maximum 48GB DDR5 RAM modules are currently compatible, not the 64GB RAM modules and the 96GB RAM modules.
So :
You should ask whether the 32GB PC comes with 1*32GB DDR5 or 2*16GB DDR5.
