Do I need a special SIM card for the device if I want to use it as a hotspot when I'm out and about, or can I just plug my mobile Swisscom card (inOne mobile go) from my mobile phone into it? And can I then still make calls etc. with the connected mobile phone?

MicroSim fits in the device, so all new simcards from Swiss telephone providers fit. Phone calls with voice-over-wifi are also possible via the hotspot!
