Do I need a drive for this, or is the DVD Plus still a key? Because I don't have a drive and only need the key. I have downloaded the Creator Tool from Microsoft onto a USB stick and now only need an activation key. Does the key only work if I have the DVD inside?

You can install Windows with the Media Creation Tool and then activate it with the serial numbers you receive.
During the installation, you only have to make sure that you select the Windows Home version.
