Do I have to empty the condensation water or is it evaporated by the unit?

There is a hose through which the condensation water can drain off. The water should then flow into a container.
According to the operating instructions, the condensation water hose is only needed when the unit is used in dehumidification or heating mode. It evaporates when cooling. I can confirm this after 3 days of use.
It comes with an adapter with PE hose. I have never used it myself. It is enough to let it evaporate in the unit.
Even when I mothballed the unit for the winter, there was no more water in it.
