Question about Xiaomi SmartMi 2S
Do all settings (swivel, speed, etc.) also work without using the app, directly adjustable on the fan? Such a device will hopefully last for several years - I don't know whether the app will still exist/still run.

Directly on the unit itself there is a button at the back that activates the swivelling to the left and right. if you want to switch it off again, press the button at the back again. At the top of the unit is a second button that you can use to switch on the fan. When it is running, each press cycles through the four speeds. If you press the button at the top longer, the fan switches off again.
Everything works without an app
