I have been using the Fritz!Box 3490 for a few hours (as a simple access point via LAN1). Unfortunately, the UPLOAD speed via WLAN and LAN is a disaster (approx. 0.5 Mbit/s) -- DOWNLOAD is OK. (min. fibre optic, 70 Mbit/s). Cable and connection are ruled out as faults (test of alternative router).

Do you have any idea what else this could be? My fear is a technical error...

Do you have any idea what else this could be? My fear is a technical error...

This is certainly a setting thing, first I would advise to make a software update, then test the upload and download speed in the settings of the router and then set this fixed, I have set about 10% more and have 986 MBit download and 496 MBIt upload with UPC.

Solved! After resetting to factory settings, a connection settings item appears in the menu under Internet; the maximum speed can be defined there....
