Question about iRobot Roomba X Life NiMH Battery 3000mAh

Hi, I just installed it today. It seems to be the same as the original battery. 14.4V and 3000mAh.
Still charging though... read some reviews it lasts a lot less... about 1 year, but can't tell ^^.
