Yes, definitely. The hose of the outdoor unit can be placed through a gap in the window if it is not completely closed. The hose is relatively small / flat at approx. 1x6cm. (Be careful with the window gap in case of rain).
Cover the window gap to prevent warm air from entering.
The outdoor unit discharges condensation water which should be drained off depending on the environment.
