Connect Sonos Arc via HDMI Arc to LG (OLED65B6V). Hi all, I have completely upgraded to Sonos. The only problem is that I just can't manage to connect the Sonos via HDMI ARC to my LG. I have spent hours now searching the internet for solutions and have tried seemingly everything: - LG set to factory default - Unplug all cables from TV, unplug power for 30 min. - TV on, HDMI ARC connected to Sonos, Sonos rebooted - Smartlink activated, deactivated and activated again It works via HDMI adapter and optical connection, but then I don't have Dolby Atmos. and because of all the trying out and plugging in and unplugging, the optical cable socket on the TV is now broken....F*ç%*ç% It was quite a feat to connect the LG Magic control with the Sonos... LG support on the phone was probably in the eastern bloc, don't know if he understood me, still waiting for an answer. I am grateful for any help!
According to your description, you connected the Arc to the HDMI Arc port of your TV. With the OLED65B6V, this should be HDMI input 2 and only that. If this is the case, conditions must still be fulfilled. Since you didn't write about this, I'm not sure if you did:
1. in the menu, in the "Settings" under "Sound", the "Audio Output" must of course be set to "HDMI Arc". 2. in the "HDMI Arc" under "Sound", the "HDMI Arc" must be set to "HDMI".
2. in the "HDMI Arc" sub-menu, the digital audio output must be set to "Pass through".
3. if the TV has it, "eARC" must be activated (ignore if not available).
4. finally, set up the TV in the Sonos app.
Done!
