Can you put it in a 2020 Macbook pro 16" with 4 USB-C ports? I have a Salt connection and it can go up to 10 Gb/s is that what it is for? Do you have another device like this cheaper or is this the only one?
yes, it works fine on a MacBook Pro 16 with USB-C
Hello, I am selling this item that I have never used at a cheaper price, if you are still interested... It is still under warranty but without original packaging. See you soon! :-)
yes of course there are cheaper options (i.e. Belkin) - Sonnet is made for business use, it is not necessary for internet access. a 'simple' conversion cable will do. That said, Sonnet behaves like an Ethernet-Tunderbold connection. (( I use Sonnet to interface audio streams - waves.com)
Sincerely,
For the speed ok,
The disadvantage of this kind of product is that they are quite hot ... the price is also correct for its quality ...
