Can you please advise the length of the tube? I see Electrolux has a system to insulate the window with separate parts but it has poor reviews. Which system is the best to leave the window open upwards and let the tube out?

The tube is quite long - can't say right now exactly, but let's say around 2m when extended. However, it ends without any parts to fix to the window. If you want to let it out through the window, you have to buy those extra parts.

I can confirm that the insulation is poor, but it is probably the best you can do with a window. There is another option, if you can make a fix hole anywhere, with a solid fixture. Say chimney or something like that might just do the trick. I am considering ditching the window setup and to switch everything to a chimney.

I'm of the opinion the insulation is sufficient. Once you create an airtight seal, hot air will be sucked in from small crevices in the rest of the house making it feel like a sauna. At least this way you are preventing that but still cooling the room sufficiently.
