Question about Medion Akoya P5303 H

I can confirm that there is a free slot for an optical drive, or I'm not that savvy, but I assume the connectors for optical drives are the same as for hard drives, aren't they? It also has a 4 pin Molex slot which I will use for the USB 3.0 controller card. I still have to get the extension cable.

To finish off the review, I have to tell you that I had problems at the beginning with the WD 10EZEX hard drive that is installed as standard. Shortly afterwards it stopped working altogether. Unfortunately, I made changes to the computer beforehand, so the warranty is gone. Now I have the old 500GB hard drive from the previous PC in it and everything is running stable and well.
