Question about Netgear A6210-100pes

The console itself is already Wi-Fi enabled, why would you need a stick?

Doesn't work on the normal PS4. Saw this comment by chance and have one of these lying around and tried it out. The device doesn't even light up. That means the PS4 doesn't recognise the antenna. I did speed tests anyway and they were always the same with and without the antenna.
