Can this system also be connected behind the Cablecom or Quickline TV boxes/with integrated router and then work in exactly the same way as with Sunrise/Swisscom? Does anyone have any experience?

Hello, I installed it today with the Quickline TV box. Works perfectly. However, the Multy makes its own network and then routes it out via the Quickline router - if this is not desired (as it was for me) you can easily set it to bridge mode, then the network remains the same.

The part should work with any router. The important thing is that the first device must be connected to the existing router via LAN (cable). When the Multy are all installed (automatically), the WLAN in the router can be switched off. The connected devices must then be reprogrammed to the new network.

The Multiy X works without problems behind a Quickline modem. If a router is connected upstream, operation of the Multiy X in bridge mode should be checked / recommended. The Multy X configures the network independently in standard mode NAT / DHCP etc.. there are hardly any setting options available at present, but Zyxel is working on the firmware and App, and new functions are constantly being added. See the Zyxel support forum.

The device can actually be connected to any router. Makes setting itself.
