Question about TP-Link TL-SG105-M2
Can this switch achieve 2.5 Bgit/s on CAT 5e network cables, or do I need to install a CAT 6a/7 cable? Thank you and greetings, Milan

Yes, but 25 to 50 cm max and as unstable as you like.
Whether a connection is established via 2.5 Gbit/s does not depend on the switch but on the cable.
If the cable is short, this should work with a cat 5e. However, if you are buying a new switch or installing a new one, you should use at least cat 6.

No, Cat 5e is only designed for max. 1 GBit/s.
