Can this model play 4K files via DLNA? Unfortunately, my Sony 4K TV can only play back FullHD resolutions via DLNA. It only displays 4K via USB.
Just tried it,it does NOT work with 2 different 4K test videos I have (mp4 files).the said 4K videos work fine when I stream them directly to my TV (Samsung).the files are streamed from a Synolgy NAS.
Hello
Unfortunately I don't have my own 4K data. I have therefore downloaded a trailer of "The Hobbit" as MP4-4K and then "Tears Of Steel" as MOV. With The Hobbit, the error message "File corrupted or unconfirmed" appears. This is the case via DLAN as well as USB. Tears Of Steel MOV is not even displayed as a file in the corresponding directory.
Good morning
Thank you for your answer. Unfortunately, it doesn't say very much.
4-K BluRays are not yet on the market. In July, the next generation with up to 3 layers was presented. It should be able to accommodate 4-K films and the new 3D sound formats. Previous "4-K" Blu-ray discs were merely mastered in 4-K. In other words, they were extrapolated and not true 4-K.
The film "Tears of Steal" is a short film in 4-K resolution and can be downloaded legally from the net. https://mango.blender.org/
Good day
I can't answer this question because I haven't consciously made any 4K applications yet. The device works perfectly in my daily area of application.
Good morning
Unfortunately, I can't answer that. I have not yet tested a 4K file or a BD in 4K. Bought this device because until now I have always owned all Sony end devices and my old device was defective.
