We bought the Tangle-Free brush because we have a dog with medium length hair. The Tangle-Free fits our V6, but not the successor models V7 and V8 (typical Dyson). Because the Tangle-Free is only powered by the airflow that is actually used for vacuuming, the two brushes rotate relatively slowly and the vacuum becomes even louder. The brush is very narrow (outer dimension 12.5 cm), so it is only suitable for vacuuming furniture. Our dog's hair does not get caught in the horizontally rotating brushes. Unfortunately, I cannot answer the question of how this works with women's hair, which can be s- e-h-r long. We use the Tangle-Free very rarely. For us, it was a bad buy!
