Question about YI 1080p Dome Camera
Can the YI Dome Camera also be controlled with the MI HOme app or only with the YI app? Same question with Google Assistant and Google Home.
By default it works with YI Home app, I also have MI Home app installed but the camera is not recognised there.
It's a custom protocol => only Yi Home. Some people have been able to install a custom protocol. But the product looks like a chinese white label of multiple cameras... it's means similar cameras have a similar set of features. I was personally disappointed by the Yi camera as multiple dies after a few months. Broken wires inside, broken plastic for the movement, wireless that disconnect and don't reconnect, etc...
