Can the router be used directly for Init7 25Gbit/s without additional modules or hardware?

According to the Init7 website, you need a BIDI SFP28 (for example https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/blueoptics-bidi-sfp28-transceiver-25gbase-bx-u-10km-transceiver-22752947) or one from Fiberstore or others. https://www.init7.net/de...

Don't have any illusions about 25Gbit: You can connect a 25Gbit interface, but except with unrealistically large packets and without ACLs/firewall rules, you won't achieve 25G throughput with this router (https://mikrotik.com/product...). On the other hand, you also need to have decent hardware/switches/servers/NAS in your home network in order to be able to connect to the network at 25G for a long time (but then you probably wouldn't have asked the question here, with "iPad on WLAN" the 2004 is long enough, even for several/many iPads on WLAN :-)). ).

However, I don't know of a more suitable one: the CCR2116 (which I also have) "only" has 10Gbit SFP+ interfaces, and the CCR2216 is too loud, too expensive and too power-hungry. All in all, I think the 2004 for Init7 makes sense (can't get fibre7 myself due to lack of glass connection). There is also a sample config for the Mikrotik CCRs on the Init7 website (https://www.init7.net/de...).
