Question about Electrolux Pure i9 Pi91-5bsm

The PUREi9 redraws the map of the room every time it is started. This has the advantage that new situations and unknown floors are no problem. With its triangular shape, it also vacuums cleanly in corners, unlike the competition. It does not yet vacuum behind open doors and behind floor-level curtains because of the lack of robot arms ;-). Otherwise, I am fully satisfied with the product.

This is not necessary. When the i9 is placed anywhere and started normally, it systematically cleans the entire room/floor. When it runs out of battery or is finished, it returns to its original location. With spot cleaning, it only cleans a small area (theoretically I think 1m2) in a large room and then returns to the original location.
A great recommendation - and above all, it usually stops before (!) it touches an object. The robots from e.g. iRobot first drive slightly against the resistance, and only then turn around and drive around the resistance.
