Question about Netgear Nighthawk M3 Mobile Router

Can the M3 forward a WLAN that can be received on 2.4GHz (hotel, campsite) to 5GHz? The M2 can, but it can only forward a 5GHz WLAN to 2.4GHz (which makes the function that is important to me completely nonsensical - which campsite transmits its WLAN on 5GHz?)

Helpful answer

The Nighthawk M3 Mobile Router supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies for WLAN transmission. However, it cannot directly forward a Wi-Fi signal that can be received on 2.4 GHz to 5 GHz. Instead, it can receive a 5G signal and pass it on via Wi-Fi to devices operating on either 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz. If you have an existing WLAN on 2.4 GHz that you want to forward to 5 GHz, this is not directly possible with this device.

The digitec bot has already answered the questions, unfortunately in the negative.
What use case does Netgear have for such a function, which (in my view) is the wrong way round? Does anyone have any ideas?

I once had a Huawei mobile router that could do exactly what I wanted with the explanation in the documentation, which corresponded exactly to my expectations (passing on public WLAN to other devices). However, public WLAN is rarely available at 5GHz due to the range and always at 2.4GHz.
