Can the LED light also be switched off during charging (and when charging is complete)? If necessary, by opening the housing? The light bothers me in the bedroom on the bedside table.
Unfortunately not, but it doesn't bother me because I turn the charger off and the light is deflected by the S6 edge on top of it onto the dark wooden chest of drawers, which in turn does not reflect.
If you are a little talented and can do without the guarantee, it works great!
You open the part by placing the charger on a smooth surface (hold it firmly) and turning the upper part counterclockwise with the open palm of your hand like a bayonet catch. (it's hard!). After you have opened it, you need a small cross screwdriver to loosen 4 visible screws. Now have a soldering iron ready and desolder the two wires of the coil, unclip the circuit board and tape off the two LEDs! Now put everything back together!
Works tip-top! When charging, the mobile phone shows you.
I have the Samsung Fast Charge Stand (1A, Adaptive Fast Charge), but even here the light in the bedroom bothered me because it is really bright. I took a piece of black insulating tape, poked a small hole with a needle where the light is and stuck it over it. So I still have the light, but very dimmed.
