Can the camera be used on the terrace? Terrace is covered and no rain or full sunlight gets through to the cam Wifi and network. Would be available.

I think so. The camera is powered by a 9.0 volt adapter - so there is no risk of a short circuit if the cam comes into contact with rain. However, the adapter must remain dry.
