Can someone please tell me what the range is and how many devices I can pair with it?

Depending on the environment (wall, etc.), you will get about 5-15m. In the house more like 5-8m if in another room. In an open room or outside 10-15m.
You can pair several devices, but only one can play music at a time. (the faster one is the faster one ;-) ).
