Question about Ubiquiti UniFi AP NanoHD

I have had 2 of them hanging vertically outside for several years. One is on a south-facing wall, the other on a north-facing wall. The manufacturer specifies a splash-proof installation location. The AP Pro also has a rubber cover at the cable entry.

Neither the manual nor the data sheet specify a corresponding IP protection class, so it is not possible for encoder systems. Instead, Unify offers devices such as "U7 Outdoor". Even when installed in an IP68 housing, there is the problem of electrical corrosion due to dew point humidity and the very high POE voltage of 48V. VG

I have had the u6 lr outside for years, but protected from the rain. I wouldn't be sure about this one.
