Can I use this router for M-Budget Internet? I want a router that I can switch off at night, because with the Winbox you can't do anything.

4020 and 4040 are actually only WLAN routers but do not have a modem. So you can't use them for internet without an additional modem. It's actually a switch combined with a WLAN AP and it's called a router because it integrates both LAN and WLAN clients into the network. To cut a long story short, you can't replace the Winbox with it, because neither the 4020 nor the 4040 can route DSL signals.
You can hang any router in front of the Fritzbox. The 4040 can also be programmed. For me, the WLAN switches off automatically at night and switches on again in the morning.
