Question about Devolo dLAN 500 WiFi Network Kit

Can I use it to expand an existing WLAN or is a new devolon WLAN mandatory? Because then I only have 2 transmitters from the "new" WLAN. With the existing ZyXEL WLAN I would have 3 "antennas".

The existing WLAN network can be expanded. Devolo does not set up a new WLAN network. Even the key for accessing the WLAN can be adjusted in the Devolo software. However, I am now using the latest Devolo Dlan 1200+ WIFI product.

Yes, this is possible - use the same WLAN name (SSID) and the same WLAN password as on the ZyXEL.
Recommended: assign separate/non-overlapping radio channels per base station. The Android app "WifiAnalyzer" (I'm sure there are others) can help you find unused or underused channels.

I highly recommend the DLAN 1200+, as it offers higher performance and also allows you to connect more devices to the socket. With the 500, I only achieve 50-100mbit in our household.
