Can I leave the Baseus adapter plugged into the cigarette lighter all the time or do I have to worry about the car battery?

Depends on the car. If the 12V socket is dependent on the ignition and no longer supplies power when the engine is switched off, you can leave the plug plugged in without hesitation. If this is not the case, you should disconnect the adapter when not in use for a longer period of time. But I have also forgotten to do this for a week.
